Two of the couples who recently got married in our family of parishes have linked Faranree and West Cork!
Kirsten Coker hails from Farranree in the nothside of Cork City but is making Clonakilty her home with David Jennings, Desert. They celebrated their marriage in a ceremony at Sacred Heart Church, Darrara, with Fr Tom Hayes and Rev Kingsley Sutton.
Shane Hurley also grew up in Farranree and has also fallen in love with West Cork and especially with Michelle Lombard who hails from Bandon where they both now live. They were wed in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty.
